A Terrific Two Weeks : Turkey, Croatia and Switzerland

Jared and I have just returned from a wonderful two weeks in Europe. The journey originated with a request for J to do business in Croatia for a week.

From the beginning we decided we were going to take full advantage of this trip. Not only making the most of our time in Croatia, but also strategically booking our flights to and from. Since we couldn’t fly directly, we planned our connections in cities we wanted to stop and spend time in for several days both before and after Jared’s business trip, making the most of our time.

We started our trip spending a long weekend exploring the bustling Turkish city of Istanbul before heading to the mountain town of Zagreb in central Croatia. Finally, we ended our expedition with another long weekend in one of our favorite European cities, Zurich.

Each location has its own pulse, different things to do and see, specialty foods, culture and of course, a unique currency for me to convert.

My next several blogs will be devoted to detailing our experiences in each of these three destinations. I hope you will read on and follow our trip!

  3. I’m extremely inspired with your writing skills {and also|as well as} with the structure to your blog. Is that this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way stay up the nice high quality writing, it’s uncommon to see a great weblog like this one today..
